Professor Simon Wright
Version 2022 — Inside the Raspberry Pi
The flying brain Simon Wright, friend and mentor of the galaxy hero Captain Future — Transplanted into the Raspberry Pi.

Story 2200
Captain Future Pulp: Is a pulp science fiction hero originally published in his namesake pulp magazine from 1940 to 1944. The majority of the stories were authored by Edmond Hamilton. Significant was a 1978–79 Japanese anime, which was dubbed into several languages and proved popular, in germany also because of the legendary soundtrack. In the first episode, it is mentioned that the Captain Future story begins in the year 2200.
Captain Future Story: The series begins when genius scientist Roger Newton, his wife Elaine, and his fellow scientist Professor Simon Wright fly to the moon to escape the predations of Victor Corvo, a criminal politician. Working together, the scientists create an intelligent robot called Grag, and an android called Otho. One day, Corvo arrives on the moon station and murders the Newtons. The deaths of the Newtons leave their son, Curtis, to be raised by the unlikely trio of Otho, Grag, and Simon Wright. He grows up with a strong sense of responsibility and hopes to use his scientific skills to help people. With that goal in his mind, he calls himself Captain Future. His spaceship, the Comet, has been constructed by himself and is [of course] superior to all other spaceships in the solar system.
Professor Simon Wright: The human brain living in a transparent, nuclear-powered life support case, with tentacle-mounted optics. He is Captain Future’s mentor and chief consultant in scientific matters.

Comet 2022
No outer space. But the Comet 2022 travels along European alpine roads.

Professor Simon 2022
Prof. Simon 2022 is highly modular and relatively inexpensive, all elements originate from the Raspberry Pi universe and a well-sorted experiments box.
Brain: Raspberry Pi 3
Energy: Strom-Pi
Senses: HiFiBerry | GPS-Dongle |(Endoskop) Kamera
Input/Output: E-Ink Display | Push Buttons | Bluetooth Head-Set
Since the Comet 2022 does not protect him from bad travel weather, his Ghost Shell including cable interfaces is IP66 shielded. Transplantation requires careful planning and a sterile laboratory environment:

Moon Station 2022
In 2022, Prof. Simon’s base stations are not located on the moon, but in green SBC Micro-Colocations distributed across the continent. High-frequency electromagnetic fields enable him to synchronize data and reliably archive his experiences during his travels.

Implementation 2022
This was just the introduction. Hardware, Software, Network, Storage… Coming soon. Stay tuned:
